How To Add Website In Google Analytics - Complete Process

What’s up guys welcome to Templintech. I’m gonna be showing you step-by-step how to install Google Analytics on your WordPress website.

Step 1: Create a Google Analytics account

Create a Google Analytics account and don’t worry this process is completely free. So all you want to do is just go up to google.com/analytics. Now you’re just gonna go click on start for free and then just click on sign up so it’ll ask what would you like to track and I just have a website selected so now just do an account name and a website name and these can be the exact same name now just enter in your website URL then just select an industry and then make sure you have the correct time zone then you can leave all these boxes checked and then just click on get tracking ID then just accept the terms and then just click on I accept cool so here is your new Google Analytics dashboard so I’m just gonna close out of this box as well as this one.

Step 2:  Install Google Analytics to WordPress

install Google Analytics to WordPress okay so from your WordPress dashboard just gone over to plugins and then go to add new and from here just going over to the search plugins box and type in Google Analytics and you’ll see the Google Analytics plugin right here so all you have to do is just click on the Install Now button and then just click activate cool so that plugin was just installed now.

Step 3: link your Google Analytics account

Link your Google Analytics account. So to do this all you have to do is just go over to the menu on the left and scroll down until you see Google Analytics. And then just click on general settings and then just click on an authorized plugin. And then just click on the get access code link and then just sign into your Google Analytics. and then just click on allow so here it says please copy this code switch to your application and paste it there so I’m just gonna click on it and copy then go back to my WordPress and then just paste the access code right here and then just click Save access code cool plug-in authorization succeeded so now just scroll all the way down and click on Save Changes so last but not least.
