TemplinTech follows the principle of minimizing the use of cookies and similar technologies. This information applies to templintech.com and its related subdomains and digital services, including go.templintech.com with TemplinTech Connect and academy.templintech.com with TemplinTech Academy.
During standard use of our own websites, we do not use cookies for advertising, marketing tracking, retargeting, or the creation of behavioral advertising profiles.
templintech.com – Joomla
When you visit templintech.com, Joomla uses a first-party session cookie to manage the current technical session and related website functionality.
The cookie is set by our own domain and is limited to the current browser session. TemplinTech does not use it for advertising, marketing, behavioral analysis, or tracking users across different websites.

go.templintech.com – TemplinTech Connect
When go.templintech.com and TemplinTech Connect are used, Joomla may use first-party session and authentication cookies required for secure login, maintenance of the user session, and provision of customer account functionality.
TemplinTech does not use these technologies for advertising, marketing, or behavioral tracking.
If a user expressly activates a feature that keeps them signed in, such as “Remember Me,” a persistent authentication cookie may be used where required to provide that specifically requested functionality.
Stripe Checkout
TemplinTech uses Stripe Checkout for electronic payments. When a user initiates a payment process, the browser may establish a connection with Stripe's payment infrastructure.
As part of the payment process, Stripe may use its own cookies and similar technologies, including for payment authentication, security, fraud prevention, and risk management. These technologies are used in connection with Stripe's payment service and are not used by TemplinTech for its own advertising or marketing tracking.
The specific technical behavior depends on the Stripe Checkout integration being used. If a particular configuration uses a technology for which applicable law requires prior consent, the relevant consent will be obtained before that technology is activated.

academy.templintech.com – TemplinTech Academy
TemplinTech Academy is provided using the Moodle learning platform at academy.templintech.com.
Moodle uses a technical session cookie named MoodleSession. It is used to manage the current session and enables the platform to recognize the same session when the user moves between different pages. After a user signs in to an account, MoodleSession is required to maintain the authenticated session.

Moodle's feature for persistently remembering the username has been disabled. TemplinTech therefore does not use the persistent MoodleID cookie for remembering the username.
We Do Not Use Advertising or Analytics Cookies
TemplinTech does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other systems on its own websites for advertising or marketing tracking, retargeting, or the creation of behavioral advertising profiles.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies to monitor visitor behavior across different websites.
Content from YouTube, Instagram, or LinkedIn is not automatically loaded on our websites in a way that activates tracking technologies of the respective platforms during the standard loading of a page.
Technical testing of the current TemplinTech Academy configuration did not identify Google Analytics, Google Fonts, or Google reCAPTCHA as part of the platform's standard page loading.
Why We Do Not Display a General Consent Banner
Under Section 25(2)(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz – TDDDG), prior consent is not required where the storage of information on a user's terminal device or access to information already stored there is strictly necessary to provide a digital service expressly requested by the user.
During standard visits to and use of TemplinTech's own websites, no optional advertising or behavioral tracking technologies are used that would, by themselves, require a general consent banner to be displayed across all pages.
TemplinTech therefore does not display a general banner asking visitors to accept or reject technologies that are not being used.
If, in the future or as part of a specific feature, a technology is used for which prior consent is required under applicable law, that technology will not be activated before the relevant consent has been obtained.
This approach is also consistent with the guidance of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg – LfDI BW). The supervisory authority states that a consent banner is not necessary where no processing requiring consent takes place. Where consent is required only for a specific feature or particular part of a website, consent may be requested in connection with that feature instead of through a general banner covering the entire website.
