TemplinTech™ Cache Cleaner is a free Joomla! Console Plugin for automated cleaning of the main Joomla! /cache directory through a server-side cron job.
The plugin is designed for websites where the cache needs to be maintained regularly without requiring the administrator to log in manually to the backend and without relying on public URLs or external web-cron services.

Why TemplinTech™ Cache Cleaner
Many cache-cleaning solutions focus primarily on deleting files. TemplinTech™ Cache Cleaner has been developed with a more conservative approach.
The plugin does not allow arbitrary cleanup directories to be specified, does not provide a public HTTP endpoint and does not follow symbolic links outside the permitted filesystem scope.
Cron can start the plugin, for example, every 5 minutes, while the actual Cleanup Interval is managed directly from Joomla!. This allows the cleanup frequency to be changed without repeatedly editing the cron configuration in the hosting control panel.
